THE COURSE

Located: Clinton City, Utah (Layton Area - Davis County) 

Type: American Parkland with wetlands (non-links)

Established: June 2010

Par: 72   Length: 6,400 yards

Average Round Time: 4 hrs - 18 holes

Greens: Seaside Penncross Bentgrass.

Fairways, Rough: Kentucky Bluegrass, Rye, Fescue. 

Hazards: Sand bunkers, grass bunkers, ponds, creeks, wetlands, and native areas and retention basins.

Wildlife Spotted: Deer, fox, pheasant, heron, turtles, frogs, fish, song birds and water fowl such as heron, geese, egrets, and pelican.

Other Features: Elevated tees, equipment rentals, electric carts, cement cart path, and equipment rentals.

ABOUT US

          Crane Field Golf Course held its grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony in June 2010. The 18 hole course is located in Clinton city (Davis County approximately 3800 W 2300 N.) 

         The course has beautiful modern bent grass greens and bluegrass fairways. Hazards include many native wetland features, sand and grass bunkers, ponds, trees, and native areas. 

          Other features include elevated tees and cement cart paths, a full size driving range with covered mats and grass tee lines, clubhouse, golf shop, lessons, and snack bar. 

          Play is very peaceful with no freeways nearby or power lines. Wildlife spotted includes deer, fox, heron, pheasants, turtles, frogs, pelicans and other water fowl. 

          Crane Field is open seven days a week March through December, weather permitting, dusk to dawn. Beer is available at the clubhouse. Back nine and range opened 2010, front nine opens June 2012.
