Crane Field Clubhouse is the perfect setting for your receptions, wedding ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, banquets, and celebrations. Our elegantly decorated interior saves you the hassle of extensive setup, featuring stunning tile work and eye-catching copper motifs. The warm and inviting atmosphere provides a sophisticated backdrop for brides, grooms, and their guests—far classier than a typical gymnasium or recreation center!
The surrounding golf course offer green landscapes that create a beautiful, picturesque setting, ideal for capturing memorable photos. Additionally, we can arrange golf rounds and driving range buckets to keep family members entertained. Unloading decorations is a snap. Parking is spacious and outdoor decorative lighting makes for a picturesque send off.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Can I bring in outside catering?
A: Yes, you can bring your own caterers who comply with state food handling requirements. Outside alcohol is not permitted.
Q: What is your alcohol policy?
A: We permit the service of alcohol at your event, but only beer, which must be purchased from us ahead of time. For further details, please contact us. We hold a State beer license, which requires us to handle all the alcohol sales. You cannot sell alcohol to your guests, but you may order beer in advance from us.
Q: What rooms are available for rent?
A: Our banquet room at Crane Field is available for hosting wedding ceremonies and large receptions, accommodating up to 200 reception guests, or up to 120 sit down guests at a luncheon. Availability depends on the date, so please check with us for open dates.
Q: Do you have a kitchen?
A: Yes, your rental includes use of preparation space equipped with a microwave, sink, freezer, refrigerator, and counter space. Ice and fountain drink add-ons are also available. Please note, our kitchen does not include an oven, stove, or other cooking appliances.
Q: When can I tour Crane Field?
A: During the regular season (when there is no snow on the ground), the clubhouse is open from dawn to dusk, seven days a week. If you would like to meet with our coordinator, or if doors are locked during the winter, please use our web contact page to schedule an appointment for a tour.
Q: When is the clubhouse available to rent?
A: The clubhouse is available for rent year-round, excluding dates already booked for events such as golf tournaments or other weddings. All events must conclude by 10 PM.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Due to high demand for popular wedding dates, we do not offer refunds for cancellations or reschedules. All sales are final. If you need to cancel and have already made full payment, we can provide a credit for future building rentals or golf shot credits.
Q: What payment plans are available?
A: A booking fee is required at the time of reservation to secure your date. Partial payments can be made up until 90 days before the event, at which point full payment is required. We accept cash, credit cards, and most other forms of payment, including online payments. See Lucky.golf for more.
Q: How do I finalize my booking?
A: You can complete most of the booking process online, including the booking fee and full payment. Alternatively, you can make credit card payments over the phone or in person at the clubhouse. For partial payments, please arrange a payment schedule by phone or in person with our event coordinator.
Q. Can we leave things at the clubhouse overnight?
A. You should make arrangements to have all decorations, gifts, and other items removed at the end of your time block. We can not be responsible for items or vehicles left after your time block ends.
Q. Can we come early to decorate or drop things off?
A. Only during the time block you have rented. If you need extra time to decorate or set things up, you will can rent extra time. We will have the tables and chairs set up and ready for your flower suppliers and other helpers to decorate. Additional charges will be added to your credit card if there are early arrivals and/or late departures.
Q. What music and video/slide show options are included?
A. We have a large flat screen TV with hdmi hookups. (A laptop works best for playing back MP4 videos and slideshows.) The TV will also play thumb drive slideshows that are all in JPG format in the same file folder. It is recommended that you do a test run well in advance. The building has WI-FI, but we recommend a hard copy of whatever media you want to play so you don’t have to rely on streaming. We also have a microphone and amplifier for speeches and music from a smart phone. (It requires a wired input like you would use for wired headphones.)
Q. Are there restrictions on the type of decorations we can bring?
A. Yes, to protect the building we do not allow certain things such as glitter, confetti, silly string, rice, burlap, sparklers, or any thing that make messy particles that won’t vacuum. Also, the Fire Marshal does not allow candles, fireworks, or open flames. Tape on the walls or on wood furniture is not permitted because it ruins the finishes.
Q. What is included with my block reservation?
A. Every reservation includes rental of tables, chairs, kitchen prep room, use of the audiovisual equipment, wifi, cake table, easels, drapes, and golf cart for photos if needed. (Decorations and linens are not included.)
Q. Does it have to be a wedding reception or I can book for other events?
A. We can do all sorts of events including wedding ceremonies, anniversaries, dinners, rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, bridal showers, bachelor(ette) parties, celebrations of life, Christmas parties, anniversaries, and so forth.
Q. What other upgrades or services do you have available?
A. We can rent our soda fountain machine for dinners, punch bowls, or refreshments. We also have name brand beer products. We also have disposable table cloths and plastic flatware and cups. If you need other recommendations for vendors we can help find what you need to make your event special.
Q. Do you allow kids and pets during the setup and decorating?
A. We do not allow pets of any kind on the premise. Children should not be at the clubhouse during set up. Since it’s a golf course, and you are busy setting things up, it is not safe to have kids wandering around unsupervised. During the wedding event you should have a designated babysitter for young children the entire time.
